As Supervisor.
For over 25 years, Supervisor Connie Chan has worked on behalf of the people of San Francisco at City Hall. As the Budget Chair for the Board of Supervisors, she presides over the City's $15.9 billion budget. Connie has a long history of standing up for families and seniors while protecting worker rights.
An Immigrant.
At age 13, Connie, her mother, and her brother, moved to San Francisco to start a new life. Coming from Hong Kong, Connie had to learn a new language and adjust to her new home--a rent-controlled apartment in San Francisco's Chinatown. Connie has lived the American Dream and will fight to protect immigrants.
A Mother.
As a devoted mother, living with her family in the Richmond District, Connie Chan understands what it is like to raise a young son in the City. That's why she is so committed running for Congress--to make things more affordable for working families, and take actions that will help the middle class.
